Although rain was threatening Thursday morning, we were at the site and raised the walls on our second home. It's a very interesting process if you have not seen it: All the framed walls are laying down and literally on top of each other. At first look, it looks as they are randomly placed. But they are certainly not! The walls are actually laid out in a very specific order, and there is a strategy behind each piece and where it is placed. After the last inspection by the framing supervisor is complete, the walls are raised in a specific order so they interlock perfectly with each other and the bolts in the foundation. It fits like a perfect puzzle and done in around 30 minutes!
